20 Minute Buffalo Cauliflower Bites. Veggie alternative to buffalo bites, bloody banging!
Serves: 4 Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
Vegetable Oil
4 Eggs, beaten
2 Tablespoons Honey
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
250ml Sweet Chilli Sauce
360g Flour
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
2 Large Cauliflower Heads, cut into small florets
2 Teaspoons Sesame Seeds
4 Spring Onion Stalks
Fresh colourful salad of your choice
Method
For the sauce, add the sweet chilli, honey, soy and 6 tablespoons of water, heat up gently and keep warm.
Beat the eggs together in a large shallow bowl. Then line a baking tray with some kitchen roll and set aside. In another large shallow bowl, combine the flour, salt, pepper and cayenne. Set aside.
Begin dipping the cauliflower florets into the egg mix, coating well. Then dipping them into the flour mix. Do this with all the florets.
Next add 3 inches of veg oil to a non-stick pan, heat over a medium heat. When hot enough start frying the cauliflower off in small batches, until nice and golden. Once ready, pop them on the kitchen paper to allow the oil to drain.
Once all the cauliflower is done, toss them in the warm sauce.
Serve with sesame seeds, spring onions scattered on top and a bright crisp salad of your choice!
