Cheeky Nandos

25 Minute Cheeky Nandos. Perfect for date night dinner or when you fancy a Nandos takeaway for a quarter of the price!

Serves: 4 Time: 25 minutes



  • 4 Chicken Breasts

  • 400g Sweet Potato or Carrots, cut into fries

  • Bag of Salad or Spinach

  • Nandos Sauce (optional)


  • 4 Tablespoons Soy sauce

  • 2 Tablespoons Honey

  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

  • 2 Cloves Garlic, crushed

  • Black Pepper


  1. Heat the oven to 200°C. Toss the sweet potato or carrots in 2 teaspoons of olive oil and pop them on a baking tray and into the oven for 25 minutes, or until crispy.

  2. Next, mix the ingredients for the marinade and put the chicken breasts into marinade. Reserve 2 chicken breasts marinating for tomorrow's dinner in the fridge overnight.

  3. While the fries are cooking, heat a griddle or frying pan, seal the chicken on both sides on a high heat for 1 minute each side. Then put a saucepan lid over the pan to cover the chicken and reduce the heat to low-medium.

  4. Make sure to pour over the rest of the marinade first and leave to simmer for 10 minutes. Check thoroughly cooked through before serving.

  5. Prepare your side salad, serve everything together with a splash of your fave Nandos sauce!
