Chocolate Porridge

Chocolate Porridge. Perfect for an energy boost before or after our Workouts.

Serves: 2 Time: 5 minutes



  • 60g Porridge Oats

  • 2 Dates , stoned

  • 300ml milk

  • 1/2 Tablespoon Cacao/Cocoa Powder

  • Pinch of Salt

  • Optional nuts for those who are exercising


  1. Throw the dates and 30g of oats into a blender or food processor. Blend until a nice thick paste. You may need to add a splash of milk.

  2. Next, on a low-medium heat, put the mixture into a saucepan and throw in the rest of the oats, 250ml milk, the cacao and a pinch of salt. Stir well.

  3. Stir the porridge for 8mins, but not continuously - just until it’s nice and creamy.

  4. Depending on how you like it, add a splash more milk.

  5. If you are exercising, enjoy with a small sprinkle of nuts on top.
