Garlic Chicken Arrabbiata

35 Minute Garlic Chicken Arrabbiata. Pasta, chicken legs, and tons of garlic - yes please!

Serves: 4 Time: 35 minutes



Fresh Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken Legs

  • Chopped Parsley, to serve

  • 400g Tomatoes, finely chopped

  • 1 Red Chilli, deseeded and sliced (optional)

Other Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

  • 1 Onion, halved and sliced

  • 5 Garlic Cloves

  • 250ml Chicken Stock

  • 1 Tablespoon Tomato Purée

  • 1 Teaspoon Chopped Thyme

  • 320g Pasta, of your choice


  1. Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick pan.

  2. Add the onions and whole garlic cloves. Saute for around 10 mins then add the chilli for the last 1 min.

  3. Mix in the stock, tomato purée, tomatoes and thyme and season. Next add the chicken, ensuring it's covered by the liquid, cover partially with a lid and cook for 35 mins.

  4. Bring a separate pan of water to boil. and add the pasta, cooking according to the package instructions. Then remove the lid from the chicken pot while the pasta cooks.

  5. Serve the chicken on top of the pasta, with parsley on top and enjoy!
