25 Minute Korean Beef. Don't knock it till you've tried it. Oh my so nice!
Serves: 4 Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients
Fresh Ingredients
500g Beef Mince
2 Apples, grated
240g Green Beans, halved
1 Thumb-Sized Piece Fresh Ginger, grated
Cupboard Ingredients
2 Garlic Cloves, minced
60ml Sesame Oil or Olive Oil
60ml Soy Sauce
50g Rice per person, dry weight
1⁄2 Tablespoon Veg Oil
Optional Ingredients
2 Spring Onions, sliced
Method
In a bowl, add the mince, ginger, garlic, the whites of the spring onion, soy, sesame oil and apple, mix well.
Heat a large non-stick pan with 1/2 tablespoon of veg oil. Add the mince mix mixture along with the chopped green beans. Cook for 5 minutes without stirring. After 5 minutes turn the meat and cook on the other side for a further 5 mins.
Meanwhile cook the rice according to the package instructions then transfer to a bowl along with the green part of the spring onion and some seasoning.
Serve the rice between plates and top with the Korean Beef. Easy!
