Peri Peri Sliders

30 Minute Peri Peri Sliders. Veggie burger with Nandos sauce.

Serves: 2 Time: 30 minutes



  • 1⁄2 Can Of Red Kidney Beans, drained

  • 1⁄2 Onion, cut into chunks

  • 25g Rolled Oats

  • 1⁄2 Egg

  • 1 Tablespoon Nando's Peri Peri Sauce

  • 1⁄2 Mozzarella Ball, sliced

  • 2 Burger Buns

  • 1 Tomato, sliced

  • Green Salad, of your choice

For the Wedges

  • 2 Medium Potatoes, cut into wedges

  • 1 Teaspoon Olive Oil


  1. Heat the oven to 200°C. Then combine the beans, egg, oats, onion, and a tablespoon of the Nando's sauce into a food processor. Blitz until chunky. Wet your hands slightly then begin to shape the mix into two patties. Then pop into the fridge to firm up.

  2. Meanwhile, toss the potatoes in the olive oil and some seasoning. Then pop them on a baking tray and into the oven to crisp up for around 30 mins.

  3. Next, heat a non-stick pan with a drizzle of olive oil. When the pan is nice and hot, fry the burgers for around 5 minutes each side. Then add a slice of mozzarella on top of each burger and pop them under the grill to melt, you can also pop the burger buns under the grill to crisp up if you like.

  4. Build your burgers with your patties, sliced tomato, fresh green salad and your potato wedges on the side!
