20 Minute Pork Steak Pasta. This will blow your tastebuds, you will love this!
Serves: 2 Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
1 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Brown Onion, diced
200g Linguine
160g Chestnut Mushrooms, cut into quarters
1 Garlic Clove, minced
1 Beef Stock Cube
10g Parsley, chopped
50ml Double Cream
2 Pork Loin Steaks, fat removed
Method
Heat the oven to 200°C and boil a kettle of water.
Add olive oil to a large non-stick pan over high heat, when the oil is hot, sear the pork for 2 min on each side, season to taste.
Put the pork on an oven-proof tray, then into the oven for around 10 mins. When cooked, remove from the oven, cover, and allow to rest.
Pop half the beef stock cube in 100ml of boiling water and set aside, then cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
Return the pan that had the pork in it to a medium heat, add the onion and garlic and cook for 1 minute, then add the mushrooms and cook until translucent. Season to taste.
Finally reduce the heat, then add the stock and cream, allowing it to simmer gently for 5 min. Next add the parsley and the pasta to the sauce and mix well.
Serve the pasta with the pork sliced on top!
