Shiitake Fried Rice

25 Minute Shiitake Fried Rice. Perfect for mushroom lovers, really filling!

Serves: 4 Time: 25 minutes



  • 160g Shiitake Mushrooms, sliced

  • 2 Tablespoons Veg Oil

  • 2 Tablespoon Soy Sauce

  • 3 Garlic Cloves

  • 2 Green Chillies, sliced

  • 6 Water Chestnuts, chopped

  • 1⁄2 Leek, chopped

  • 1 Celery, chopped

  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger, grated

  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil (if you don’t have any, just use olive oil)

  • 2 Packs Of Microwavable Rice

  • Salt and Pepper

  • 2 Tablespoons Of Rice Wine Vinegar

  • 2 Spring Onions

  • 1 Bunch of Parsley


  1. Heat the oil in a large wok, add onions, celery and leeks. Cooking until translucent. Add ginger, water chestnuts and mushrooms, mix well.

  2. Next add the rice, spring onions, rice wine vinegar, soy, sesame oil and garlic. Stir fry until nice and fragrant, and the rice is fully cooked

  3. Serve with the parsley scattered on top and enjoy!
