10 Minute Speedy Beef Lo Mein. Super quick on the table and full of flavour!
Serves: 4 Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
450g Beef Top Sirloin Steak, cut into thin strips
2 Packs Beef Flavoured Instant Ramen Noodles
150ml Hoisin Sauce
120ml Water, divided
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil, divided
450g Asparagus, trimmed and cut into chunks
1 Garlic Clove, minced
Method
Toss the beef with 1/2 teaspoon of the seasoning from the ramen packet. Discard the rest.
In a separate small bowl, combine the hoisin and half of the water. Then bring the remaining water to a boil in a small saucepan.
Add noodles to the water, cook for 3 mins then remove from the heat and allow to stand covered until fully tender.
Meanwhile, in a large non-stick pan, heat 1 tablespoon oil over high heat; stir-fry the beef for around 3-4 minutes. Then remove from the pan. In the same pan, heat remaining oil over medium heat, add the asparagus and garlic until crispy, but tender.
Next stir in the hoisin sauce mix and bring to a boil. Cooking until it thickens slightly.
Finally, stir in the beef and allow to heat through. Enjoy!
