Steak Night

10 Minute Steak Night. Perfect for date night dinner on the table in 10 minutes.


Serves: 2 Time: 10 minutes

 

Ingredients

  • 2 Steaks

  • 1 Garlic Clove, minced

  • 1 Teaspoon Fresh Ginger, grated

  • 1.5 Tablespoons Soy Sauce

  • 2 Spring Onions, thinly sliced

  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

  • 12 Asparagus Spears

  • 2 Portobello Mushrooms. sliced

  • 1 Pack of Vine Tomatoes, halved at the vine

  • serve with salad

Sauce

  • 1/2 Tablespoon Olive Oil

  • 1 Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar

  • 1 Teaspoons Wholegrain Mustard

  • Crushed Garlic Clove

  • Black Pepper

Method

  1. In a medium sized bowl, combine the soy, garlic and ginger. Followed by the steak, tossing well.

  2. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a medium sized frying pan, add the asparagus, mushrooms and tomatoes still on the vine, with a splash of soy and cook for around 5 mins with a lid on.

  3. Heat the remaining oil in a large frying pan or griddle over high heat, when it's nice and hot add the steak and sear for 2 minutes until browned. Keep it nice and pink in the middle if you like.

  4. Meanwhile prepare your side salad and dressing.

  5. Once ready, serve everything together with your dressing drizzled on top.
